Pupils Involved in Formative Assessment
Developing Formative Assessment strategies across the primary school- Elizabeth Andrews, Sarah Delaney, Henna Dulwich, Pat Farley, Nicola Furnish, Sally Garbutt, Ann Horner, Heather James, James Kitto, Jo Pedley, Devinder Sharma and Helen Tonkin, Pennoweth Primary School
The research aimed to explore the extent to which Assessment for Learning approaches could be introduced effectively across the primary school to support the creation of independent and effective learners. Students showed increased on-task behaviour after a year of formative assessment strategies being implemented across the school. SATs levels appear to have improved, especially at the higher end of the spectrum.
