Extended Services
We have done a Zone wide SEF so Extended Services which covers the services provided centrally and by partners to Schools. The Extended Services 2008/09 plan is here to view.
A copy is to be found here. Schools may wish to cut and paste those parts that apply to them onto there own SEF audit.
Extended Services The annual audit for all Schools will be in the Autumn term 2008. A copy of the school's audit form is here. Each School will be visited to assist with filling this form in a uniform way. This year we are adopting the SEF format so the answers can be posted directly into your school improvement plan.
How the Zone schools met the Parenting Requirements of Extended Services is here to view.

Information for Governors a quick guide
Nationally Extended services are directly linked to supporting School Improvement. This means that schools do not have to provide every element of the provision themselves. However, they do have to have a plan as to how their work links and maps into a range of other providers to support their school improvement plans. The School Improvement pack from Training development agency (TDA) which connects extended services to school improvement. This pack was referred to at the recent cluster meeting. It will soon be supported by a video presentation for staff on a DVD and we will soon put the zone SEF for extended services and school improvement here.To access the PDF file that tells you about how to link School Improvement and Extended Services click here. Information for schools and contributing partners about the management of extended services is found on the county web page.Link to the County Webpage is here . This is being extended and updated with information about county wide provision.Funding information; a portal to grants to the community and voluntary sector from government sites.

September 2009 update the Play Pathfinder has received 2 applications to date both from the West. Cornwall will also be getting its very first staffed adventure playground and the proposed site for this has to be identified in the West. Please view the application pack.
The new Play Pathfinder Grant for play activities and play skills is still currently running. There seem to be some confusion from Parish councils who have been told the Playbuilder grant which is up to £50,000 and closes this month 30th Sept has been replaced by the Pathfinder grant, which is up to £5,000 and closes next year and for something different. These are 2 seperate grants and the Pathfinder grant does not replace the Playbuilder grant. Please see the links below for the information, guidance notes and application pack.
