What we have done
PACT have recently received the results for the evaluations carried out in the 11 primary schools in 2007. Questionnaires, based on recommended models, were distributed to parents and pupils at the beginning, and at the end, of PACT to establish whether there was any impact. The pupils and their parents were also asked to fill in a Thought Diary each week as a record of what they had learned, what they thought was useful, what they thought was not so useful, etc.
We are pleased to report that the results showed a definite improvement, and that PACT has made a difference in the primary schools (Year 4 and Year 6 pupils) taking part in the project.
