Brain Wave plc (Personalised Learning Challenges) is a simple, transferable model of learning that places the learner in control of their learning, within a cross-curricular challenge context. The Brain Wave plc framework includes:

• A scenario that provides the context, Big Picture and reason for learning, with a flexible outcome and a clear deadline

•  Roles and responsibilities for learners

•  Input of knowledge, skills and attitudes

•  Success criteria set and reviewed by the learners

•  A show and tell presentation to embed new learning
