Treleigh Community Primary School
Treleigh C P School is a growing primary school set on the eastern outskirts of Redruth. There are approximately 210 children on role and a staff of seven full-time teachers plus the head teacher, deputy head teacher, two part-time teachers and a number of lunchtime, administrative and support staff. In addition to the seven classrooms and the Buzzy Bees pre-school group, there are areas for a library, small group work and a computer suite.
All of the classrooms are spacious and very well equipped. Being a primary school, we are able to keep track of the children’s progress from 4 – 11. It is the governors’ intention to keep class sizes as small as possible, and all children are able to take advantage of everything on offer, if they wish. The town of Redruth offers a range of facilities, including mini rugby, athletics and judo, to name but few.
Our school also has a website which maybe accessed at http://www.treleigh.cornwall.sch.uk/ Here you will find all the details for contacting Treleigh C P School. We also have a Pupils area which has many links to some of the pupil’s favourite games websites. You will also find under our Gallery page activities that the children have taken part in making over the recent months, and lots more. Please feel free to browse!
During the year the school takes part in many community activities. Many of the local public services visit the school. We like to be involved wherever possible in the local community, as well as inviting members of the community into school.
Treleigh C P School seeks excellence in all it does and aims to provide for every child a broad, balanced, stimulating and challenging curriculum. All of our children will have their education enhanced by a culture that values and promotes the part played by each individual in order to prepare them for the years ahead.
