Group Work in Schools

As SMART’s work has developed over the last two years we have tried to find ways of engaging with greater numbers of children and young people, thereby providing even more support to their schools. One of the ways of doing this has been to use groupwork techniques. Examples of groupwork so far include transition groups during and around the summer holidays for pupils moving from KS2 to KS3 where bullying is a major difficulty and whole class social skills groups.
